What year is your Camry? I hear tell on some years Toyota managed to sneak in a hidden feature they thought would catch on big, the TBAPS (Toyota Beige Astral Projection System), which allows owners to feel just as bored, sleepy, etc as they normally would be while driving their Toyota during use of another, possibly more exciting vehicle; even from many, many miles away.

Surely it did not exist in 1998. That's some Area 51 type shit....

You're right, it was probably still in Toyota's Sleepy Skunkworks back then.

Progressive Camry Syndrome, or PCS, is characterized by increased lethargy, anhedonia, and a general beige view of the world.
The underlaying cause is thought to be continued daily driving of an uninspiring vehicle.
Recent studies have shown that hooning a small, light weight car, particularly a maneuver where you slide the car and apply counter-steer, or "Opposite Lock", can alleviate the symptoms of PCS by as much as 73%.
Take one of these and follow up with your physician in the morning.
